All works share a consistent art style, featuring intricately detailed figures reminiscent of a "find-the-character" game, with backgrounds and structures prominently highlighted.
Instead of replicating New York or the campus as they are, I translated how these spaces appear to me—cutting and reassembling my perceptions to reinterpret a new vision of both New York and Pratt Institute.
My illustrations also celebrate a rich tapestry of diverse ethnicities and cultures. If viewers can see the spaces as I do, resonate with the humor, and share a smile, then my intention has been successfully conveyed.

Underground Hitchhiker
This project symbolizes the spirit of challenge and solidarity that drives us even beneath the surface. This poster captures the dynamic urban energy of New York by portraying not only the bustling scenes above ground but also the everyday hustle of catching the subway below.
By incorporating elements such as wheelchairs and elevators, it visually communicates a message of diversity and inclusion, emphasizing that everyone should have equal access to mobility and participation.
Through this artistic narrative, the multifaceted stories of New York unfold across every level of the city.

This is New York City
This is a poster submitted for the New York Design Competition: Ode to NYC. I focused on diversity and inclusion. I love New York, and New Yorkers love New York in all their own ways. But why do they love it? Because it’s the people who make it special.
New York is home to every kind of person, and it’s the city’s system that brings them together. We cherish New York because of its inclusive and accessible systems that care for everyone.
A city where elevators for wheelchair users are a given is truly amazing! However, I hope that we continue to build even more such systems—because I love New York.

Thank You, PRATT!
Thank you so much, Pratt! I created an illustrated poster to be used on thank you cards for Pratt’s student employees (including teaching assistants). This year, after spending one year working as a production lab graphic designer and research assistant, I am set to graduate.
The final project assigned to me was a thank you card for the student employees—essentially, for people like me. With only two months remaining until graduation, I asked myself what I most wanted to remember, and I concluded that it was this school, its charming surroundings, and the people of Pratt.
To capture all of that, I depicted Pratt through my own eyes. Simply wandering around campus and taking photos made me feel like I was already preparing for graduation. There’s even talk of the school printing this on fabric or other memorabilia.
